Final project for an Honors Seminar centered on ‘The Lost Cause’ of the Confederacy. Inspired by the guerrilla knitting initiative, The Kudzu Project, where lead fiber artist Margo Smith and her collaborators construct modularly knit kudzu installations. These artworks adorn remaining Confederate monuments, drawing a connection between kudzu's invasive presence and the figuratively invasive nature of the monuments, which wrongfully commemorate the Confederacy.
